Eboni Iman Rodriguez (January 31, 1995 – December 23, 2024) was a brilliant light and a multi-talented force of nature who lived her life out loud.  Her radiant smile and infectious laugh lit up every room she walked into. She possessed a mountain-moving voice and used her vast creative gifts to build up her community as an academic achiever, an accomplished flute player, an honor chorus vocalist, a district award-winning theater actress, and a deeply dedicated worship leader for Courageous Worship Church. Her excellence earned her induction into the National Thespian and National Spanish Honor Societies. Above all, Eboni loved God with all her heart and lived faithfully by Matthew 6:33. Outside of her music, the ocean was her ultimate tranquil place—the beach was where she always went to find rest.

What truly defined Eboni was her beautiful capacity to love. She adored butterflies, loved her family and friends ferociously, gave everyone the benefit of doubt, and chose to see the good in everyone and in everything. She was a loving daughter, devoted wife, and faithful friend. Despite enduring childhood trauma, bullying, mental health battles, and the severe physical challenges of Lupus, Eboni never quit. Out of her struggles grew a deep passion for her love for God, music, the creative arts, and youth mental health. To keep her melody alive, this scholarship provides financial assistance to Georgia students who mirror her tenacious spirit and invests directly in the next generation of resilient leaders.
